Project Engineer, EIT (Engineer in Training)
BS Civil Engineering, Santa Clara University
I joined the Carroll Engineering team in 2016, my first year after graduating college. I use both my in-class construction knowledge and in-field construction experience as a base for my design. This has helped me incorporate innovative ideas for my projects, from the early stages of design through construction.
My work here at Carroll Engineering goes far beyond the walls of the office as our impact is felt on the surrounding community every day. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing the plans transform from lines on a screen to real-life utility pipes and multi-story buildings that I can admire as I pass by on my way to work each morning. From working on Public Schools to Multi-Story Affordable Housing projects, the experience of knowing that someone is benefitting on the other end of my work is equally humbling and enriching. I’ve always wanted to make a difference in this world and positively impact my community and this opportunity at Carroll Engineering feeds that inherent need in a multitude of ways.
Outside of the office, I enjoy weightlifting, camping with friends and family, barbequing in true Kansas City style and listening to music. On any given weekend, you can find me out and about in the Bay Area taking in the views, attending a local festival or watching a sporting event. I like to support my Alma Mater (Go Broncos!), local artists and performers whenever possible.
